TV Input

Set this when playing audio from a TV on this unit. When the TV is turned on, this unit turns on and the input source is automatically switched to “HDMI”, “Optical 1”, “Optical 2” or “Coaxial” so that the audio from the TV can be played through this unit.

Set the input source to be used when playing audio from the TV through this unit. Set this according to the jack on this unit being used to connect to the TV (HDMI (ARC), OPTICAL 1/2 input or COAXIAL input).

Auto-Play

When a TV audio source is input to this unit, the unit automatically switches to the input source set in “Default Input” and the Auto-Play function for playing TV audio on this unit is set.

On
(Default):

Enables the Auto-Play function.

Off:

Disables the Auto-Play function.

The Auto-Play function does not work when “Default Input” is set to “None”. Set “Default Input” in advance.

The Auto-Play function will not work if the sampling frequency of the audio signal input from this unit’s OPTICAL 1/2 input terminal and COAXIAL input terminal is 88.2 kHz or more. TVs normally output 48 kHz audio signals and the Auto-Play function will work, but if you connect a device that outputs an audio signal of 88.2 kHz or more and try to use it, the Auto-Play function may not work.
