Playing the same source simultaneously in MAIN ZONE and ZONE2 (TV Audio Sharing setting)

The TV Audio Sharing setting of this unit can be used to output all signals from ZONE2 by setting “Source” as the input source for ZONE2. When playing audio input from a TV via the ARC or eARC or audio input from a playback device, you can enjoy the original input audio format, such as Dolby Atmos, in surround sound in MAIN ZONE while playing the same content in ZONE2.

Only the controls on the main unit can be used to set “Source” as the input source.

Select the input source to play back in the MAIN ZONE.

Press ZONE2 ON/OFF on the main unit to turn on the power of ZONE2.

The ZONE2 power indicator on the display lights.

Press ZONE2 SOURCE on the main unit to switch the input source of ZONE2 to “Source”.

If “Source” is selected as the input source of ZONE2, the input source is changed to mirror that of the MAIN ZONE. “Source” is the default setting.

Playing different sources in MAIN ZONE and ZONE2

Press Z2 to set the operating zone to ZONE2 with the remote control.

The indicator for the selected zone is lit.

Press POWER Power Button

to turn on the ZONE2 power.

The ZONE2 power indicator on the display lights.

Power in ZONE2 can be turned on or off by pressing ZONE2 ON/OFF on the main unit.

Press the input source select button to select the input source to be played.

The audio signal of the selected source is output to ZONE2.

To perform an operation with the main unit, press ZONE2 SOURCE. Each time you press ZONE2 SOURCE, the input source changes.
