Line Out Level

Set according to the terminal (VARIABLE or FIXED) where the amplifier is connected. Use this setting when connecting a Marantz amplifier to this unit using remote control connection. link

Variable:

When the “Power Sync” function is used, the input source of the Marantz amplifier switches to “POWER AMP” Control the volume of the audio signal output from this unit’s analog audio output terminals (VARIABLE) with the HEOS app or TV remote control unit (HDMI control function).

Fixed
(Default):

When the “Power Sync” function is used, the input source of the Marantz amplifier switches to “CD”. Control the volume of the Marantz amplifier connected to this unit with the HEOS app or TV remote control unit (HDMI control function).

Custom:

You can set “Variable” or “Fixed” for each input source (HDMI/HEOS/Bluetooth). Other input sources are set to “Fixed”.

Custom

Set the terminal (VARIABLE or FIXED) to which the amplifier will connect for each input source (HDMI/HEOS/Bluetooth). If the input source is a CD, USB-DAC, Coaxial, or Optical, the analog audio output terminal (FIXED) will be used.

For example, if you set “HDMI” to “Variable”, when listening to CDs, the volume of the amplifier can be adjusted with the VOLUME Button_Plus Mz and Button_Minus Mz buttons on the remote control, and when watching TV via HDMI ARC, the volume of the unit can be comfortably adjusted with the TV remote control.

HDMI

Set the analog audio output terminal to be used when playing the input source of the unit to HDMI.

Some operations may not be possible on some Marantz amplifiers.

It may not be possible to control the volume with the TV remote control (HDMI control function) depending on the Marantz amplifier and TV connected to this unit.
