Turning the power on

Press Power Button on the main unit to turn the power on.

Press Power Button CD on the remote control unit to turn on power from standby mode.

You can also press Triangle Right on the main unit to turn on power from standby mode.

When power is switched to standby

Press Power Button CD.

The unit switches to standby mode, and the STANDBY indicator lights red.

NOTE

Power continues to be supplied to some of the circuitry even when the power is in the standby mode. When leaving home for long periods of time or when going on vacation, either press Power Button on the main unit to turn off the power, or unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
