Playing files stored on USB memory devices
Playback starts.
If the USB memory device is divided into multiple partitions, only the top partition can be selected.
Marantz does not guarantee that all USB memory devices will operate or receive power. When using a portable USB hard disk drive (HDD) which came with an AC adapter, use that device’s supplied AC adapter.
USB memory devices will not work via a USB hub.
Playback is not possible when connected via the front panel’s USB port.
To play another file while playing from a USB memory device, press to display the folder tree, to select the file to be played, and then press ENTER.
Do not use an extension cable when connecting a USB memory device. This may cause radio interference with other devices.
Files can be read from a USB memory device by connecting the device to this unit. The file reading time varies according to the amount of data saved on the USB memory device. Several minutes may be required to read the maximum permissible number of files and folders.
Note that Marantz will accept no responsibility whatsoever for any problems arising with the data on a USB memory device when using this unit in conjunction with the USB memory device.

Press SRCH, then press ENTER to select the first letter you want to search mode.
During random playback of files stored on a USB memory device, each time playback of a track is completed, another track is randomly selected for playback from tracks in the folder.
If the list is not in alphabetical order, you may not be able to perform a character search.
Switching the display
During playback, press INFO.
The display switches between the track name, artist name, album name and file type/bit rate.
