Switching the display’s brightness

The display brightness can be adjusted between four levels. Switching the display off reduces a source of noise that affects sound quality, enabling higher sound quality playback.

Press DIMMER.

The brightness of the display switches each time the button is pressed.

If buttons are operated when the display is off, information is temporarily displayed at the brightest setting.

The display brightness is set to most brightly by default.

DIMMER also works with the Marantz amplifier MODEL 50 (not included) and the brightness can be adjusted simultaneously when used in conjunction with this unit. If the brightness settings differ, set the brightness of each to the brightest setting by pressing DIMMER for 5 seconds or more before adjusting.
