Power operation button ( Power Button )

This turns the power on/off (standby). link

Power indicator

This is lit as follows according to the power status:

Power on : Off

Standby : Red

iPod charge standby : Orange

Disc tray open/close button ( Triangle-Underline )

Opens and closes the disc tray. link

Fast-forward/Forward-skip button ( Forward / Skip-Right )

Plays the next track. Press and hold to fast-forward the track.

Fast-reverse/Reverse-skip button ( Skip-Left / Rewind )

Returns to the start of the currently playing track. Press and hold to fast-reverse the track.

DISPLAY OFF indicator

Lights when the display is off. link

Display

This displays various pieces of information. link

Disc tray

Used to insert a disc. link

Remote control sensor

This receives signals from the remote control unit. link

Play button ( Triangle Right )

Playback starts.

Stop button ( Square Black )

Stops playback.

Pause button ( Pause )

Pauses playback.

USB port

Used to connect USB storages (such as USB memory devices) and the USB cable supplied with iPod.link

DISC/INPUT button

Used to select the playback source.link

Headphones jack (PHONES)

Used to connect headphones.

NOTE

To prevent hearing loss, do not raise the volume level excessively when using headphones.

Headphone volume control knob (LEVEL)

Adjusts the headphone volume.
