Changing the playback speed (Pitch control playback)
This changes the playback speed (pitch) of playback during playback of a music CD (CD-DA).
Increasing the playback speed
The “PITCH” indicator appears in the display, and the playback speed becomes faster (increases) each time the button is pressed (until the maximum +12).
Decreasing the playback speed
The “PITCH” indicator appears on the display, and the playback speed becomes slower (decreases) each time the button is pressed (until the minimum -12).
Returning to normal playback speed
The “PITCH” indicator disappears from the display, and "Pitch:0" appears in the display.
Press PITCH CONTROL RESET again to switch back to the previously set playback speed.
The pitch control function is only enabled when the Audio EX setting is set to “Audio EX OFF”. link
Pitch control playback cannot be used for MP3 and WMA files.
Digital signals are not output during pitch control. (Signals are output when the pitch control is set to “Pitch: 0”).
